Job Description

As software development Engineer for Network Software and Automation Services group you will be responsible for developing software to manage the global JPMC network as well as the APIs that network consumers use to interact with network services. You should have experience in both networking domain and software.

Responsibilities

 Testing and test framework development for high-volume backend software platform, tools and applications for network automation.

Collaborate with the wider automation team and network SMEs to design and deliver platforms/solutions for automation

 Develop automation in testing, build, release and deployment for improving productivity and efficiency.

 Coach team members in adopting best practices in development, testing and automation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

5 - 15 years of experience in design and development of automation for high-volume back-end enterprise applications and products in telecom/networking domain.

Strong knowledge of Python, RESTFul Web Services , Databases.

 Proficient in building Automation frameworks based on Linux and Windows.

 Multiple years of experience in networking including network management, element management (FCAPS) or networking software applications etc is an added advantage.

 Understanding and experience of agile development methodology.

 Work experience with DJANGO, Jenkins is an added advantage

Work experience with and UI frameworks is an added advantage.

Good to have networking/telecom domain.
